Rick Solano

Rick Solano, the oldest of four boys, was born in West End of Boston in 1946. Using some
of the techniques his father taught him, Rick was able to finance his own way through
Bentley College. In 1968 he graduated with a bachelor's of science degree in accounting
and finance. He worked for the "Big Six" International Accounting Firm of Arthur
Andersen & Co., and the U.S. Treasury Department as an Internal Revenue Agent with a
special assignment to the International Narcotic Traffickers Project. In 1976 he left the
Internal Revenue to start his own Tax & Financial Consulting firm. He obtained a
Masters in Taxation Degree in 1977 and served as a Chapter 11 Bankrupty Trustee.
In 1976 Rick began formulating a plan for success. After intense analysis and research he
discovered some little known secrets that would allow him to make profits with little
risk.
By 1986, Rick achieved two goals his father had wished for him personal and
financial success. Remembering his father early death at age 52, he did not want the
knowledge he had accumulated to be lost. At age 40, he began to record his successful
steps for his children in a personal diary. What began as a diary evolved into a concept
known as the "Millionaire Mentality" and the publication of a book in 1992
"The Power of a Millionaire Mentality®: Your 10 Keys to Success."
Although Rick retired in 1986, he still serves as the chairman of the Foundation for Continuing Education,
a nonprofit organization he founded in 1977 to promote professional development and
training opportunities for professionals and corporate executives.
